Mark dreamt of a life on stage when at six years old he took on the role of Prince Charming in a school production of Cinderella. However, after marrying in his early twenties and starting a family he found he needed more regular employment. And so after being given the opportunity to present a radio programme for his local BBC radio station he decided this might be a better way of paying the mortgage for the next few years. Thirty five years on and he is still broadcasting, but has also realised his early ambition of undertaking a number of professional acting roles along the way.
